Patalsu Peak a perfect beginners summit at 13,800feet is a moderately easy summit near Manali. The trek starts from Solang village, climbing through meadows, deodar, pine and oak forests inhabited by Monals and Pheasants among other flora and fauna for two days to the summit. The campsites offer breathtaking panoramic views of the entire Kullu valley and Hanuman Tibba, Friendship Peak, and Ladakhi peak. From the Patalsu summit, you can see a Chain of snow covered mountains towering over the Kullu valley, and excellent views into Lahaul and Spiti.

Day 1: Arrive Manali
Day 2: Drive from Manali to Solang. Trek Solang to Shagadug (Trek around 3 km 3/4 hours)
Day 3: Shagadugh to Base Camp (Trek around 3 km 2/3 hours)
DAY 4: Base Camp to Patalsu peak (13,800 ft) and back to Shagadugh camp (Trek around 9 km - 7/8 hours)
DAY 5: Shagadugh to Solang and drive to Manali. (Trek around 3 km Trek - 2/3 hours)
