About Kuari Pass

Kuari pass, a trek with the view of some of the mightiest peaks of Indian Himalayas! This trek is very popular amongs the trekkers. The Kuari pass is also known as Curzon's trail since the British viceroy, George Curzon attempted crossing it and loved exploring this area. The pass is not very high but it offers breathtaking views of mighty and famous Himalayan peaks. The eyes are gifted with grand views of the peaks of Nanda Devi, Trishul, Neelkanth, Kamet, Mana, Chaukhamba massif, Ghodi, Hathi, Nandaghunti, Dunagiri. The Nanda Devi national park and the Rishi Ganga gorge are visible from the first day itself.

Day 1: Dehradun to Joshimath (Around 295 km – 9/10 hours drive)

Day 2: Joshimath to Guling (9,200 ft) via Dhak (6,900ft) (Around 30 min drive and 5/6 km - 4 hours trek)

Day 3: Guling to Khullara (10,990ft) (Around 5/6 km – 4/5 hours trek)

Day 4: Khullara to Kuari pass (12,540ft) and back to Taali (11,515ft) (Around 9/10 km 5/6 hours trek)

Day 5: Taali to Auli trek; Drive to Joshimath (Around 4/5 hours trek and 30 min drive)

Day 6: Joshimath to Dehradun (Around 295km 9 hours drive)
