About Mt. CB 13 & 14

Mt. Chandra Bhaga 13 and 14 also known as CB 13 -14 is a mighty peak on the Dhaka glacier that is visible from Chandra tal and is a popular with climbers who want to climb in Himachal Pradesh. The approach to this peak is from Batal from where you can see the immense Bara Shigri glacier across the valley. From top of the peak you have a mindblowing view of the Kunzum Range, the magnificent Chandra tal Lake and the Chandra River. The undulating terrain is very harsh comprising of boulders, marine and difficult to access without a proper experienced climbing guide due to sheer remoteness.

Day 1: Arrive Manali in the Morning. Mandatory Paper work and other preparation.

Today all the documentation at concerning offices and preparations will be done.

Day 2:Manali to Batal - 6 to 8 hrs Drive

Day 3: Acclimatization day at Batal (14,000 FT)

Day 4: Batal to Base Camp

Day 5: Acclimatization Day at Base Camp

Day 6: Base Camp to Advanced Base Camp (ABC) and back to Base Camp

Day 7 Base Camp to ABC

Day 8ABC to Summit Camp of CB 13

Day 9 Summit Camp to CB 13 Summit (20,552 FT) and back to ABC

Day 10 Reserve Day for CB 13 Summit

Day 11 Rest day at ABC

Day 12 Summit push to CB 14 (19,941 FT) and back to ABC

Day 13 Reserve day for CB 14 summit

Day 14 ABC to Base Camp

Day 15 Base Camp to Batal

Day 16 Batal to Manali – 7/8 hours Drive
