About Jagatsukh Climbing

At an altitude of 16,565 ft in the Deo Tibba range near Manali, Jagatsukh is the perfect peak for experienced and seasoned trekkers looking to for a true challenge. The Jagatsukh Peak expedition lets you traverse glaciers and crevasses. This is a less popular option among beginner climbers but a great opportunity to learn front pointing and ice climbing techniques. The summit provides you a breathtaking views of Indrasan, Deo Tibba, Mt. Norbulinga, and many others peaks. In spite of being the ideal first expedition for beginners, this trek demands a very good fitness level and prior knowledge of mountaineering techniques. The best months to do the Jagatsukh Peak expedition is in the pre-monsoon months of May and June followed by the post-monsoon months of September and October.

Day 1: Arrive Manali in the Morning. Mandatory Paper work and other preparation.

Today all the documentation at concerning offices and preparations will be done.

Day 2: Manali to jagatsukh drive and trek to Chikka(10,365 ft) (Around 3-4 hours trek)

Day 3: Chikka to Seri Base Camp(13,350 ft) (Around 5/6 hours trek)

Day 4: Seri Base Camp to Summit Camp and back to Base Camp (Around 6 hours trek)

Day 5: Seri Base Camp to Summit Camp (Around 3/4 hours trek)

Day 6: Summit Camp to Jagatsukh peak and back to base camp

Day 7 Reserve Day

Day 8:Trek from Seri to Chikka and drive to Manali.
