Dhumdhar Kandi Pass, locally known as the "Smoky Ridge Forest", is a high altitude treacherous pass north of Banderpunch at an approximate altitude of 18010ft. This pass connects Bhagirathi valley and Tons valley. It is one of the unique treks where the glaciers on both side of the pass feed two different and big Himalayan rivers, the Bhagirathi and the Yamuna. This mighty pass is an ancient route for villagers from Uttarkashi and Gangotri to reach the remote Tons Valley. The unique feature of this trek is the Kalanag (Black Peak) glacier and the glacier from Swargorohini and Bandarpoonch on either side of the pass. This pass is at the base of two renowned peaks of the Garhwal Himalayas, Kalanag(Black Peak) and Swargarohini. Known for its challenging terrain and characteristics along with unpredictable weather, the Dhumdhar Kandi Pass trek is meant for experienced and seasoned trekkers only who are familiar with use of some may be needed technical mountaineering equipments like spikes and ice axe, along with a good physical and mental endurance. Known for its very less explored trail and challenging terrain, the Dhumdhar Kandi Pass trek is an hard core adventure lovers dream.

Day 3: Seema to Devsu Bugyal (9,850ft) (Around 7/8 km - 5/6 hours trek)
